About Manfishers
Our Mission Statement:
"Manfishers Ministries exists for the purpose of furthering the reach and impact of the Word of God. Through coordination with missionaries in the field, organizing and supporting short-term mission projects (both foreign and domestic), and bringing together individuals and groups whose needs and gifts are complementary, we work to equip and enable believers in doing their part to fulfill the Biblical 'Great Commission.'"
As documented in the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus’ instructions to His followers after His resurrection was to “go..and make disciples of all nations.” Literally translated, that verse says that we are to do this “as we are going,” so while it can mean getting on an airplane and working on a project in a foreign country, missions is intended to be more of a way of life for the believer than an event. What’s more, Paul clearly illustrated a model of “continuing ministry,” in that his missionary journeys weren’t “fire and forget,” so Manfishers endeavors to build and maintain the communications and connections between the churches and missionaries in the field and the volunteers that support them.

Equipping Fishers of Men
Ask any fisherman and they’ll tell you that
fishing isn’t as simple as throwing in a
hook or holding up a net — there’s a lot
more to it than that. A fisherman needs to
be properly equipped and adequately
informed about where they’re fishing.

Me, author Denver Moore points out the
differences between how some people
fish. Some catch them for sake of
catching them alone, releasing their
catch after the photos are taken, while
others see and appreciate the fulfillment
that fish can bring to a hungry belly.
